Check out Uma proposta de expansão de um Espaço Inteligente Programável através de dispositivos robóticos e computação em borda, where I investigated the use of edge devices, such as mobile robots, to extend the functionalities of intelligent spaces. The work proposed a custom edge controller to manage distributed applications, integrating robotics, cloud computing, and IoT technologies.
